About Us
My name is Allen Jefferies, and for me, love of perfecting cars began when I was 15 and got my first car - a hairy vehicle from a veterinarian! My parents' challenge to clean it led to a discovery: I had a knack for detailing. Soon, I was cleaning vehicles for my dad's friends and co-workers to earn some extra date money.
Years went by, filled with school, part-time jobs, and a successful sales stint with Pepsi. But detailing was never far from my mind. I turned my passion into profit by buying, revamping, and selling cars.
A move back to Muskegon with Katie, my high-school sweetheart, marked the beginning of Lakeshore OCDetailing. I juggled dealership work and our business until 2015. A pause to build our dream home didn't mean the end of my passion – I continued detailing for friends and family on the side.
Katie's encouragement in 2019 was the spark that set our business ablaze. A mobile detailing unit, busy days, then a fire in 2022 that cost us everything but our determination. We soon found a new home in downtown New Era, MI, growing our business bigger and better than before.
Now certified in the world’s best ceramic coating, Industrial FEYNLAB®, our business isn't just a job for me. With my unique blend of OCD and ADHD, it's a passion, an art, and an endless pursuit of perfection.
Today, I can proudly say that I've retired from my "job" and devoted myself to what I love most. Our satisfied customers, gleaming cars, prove we're among the best and are testaments to our commitment.
